Vintage Motorcycles come to Heatherslaw

Northumberland Vintage Motorcycle Club - and friends - made a visit to Heatherslaw Mill on 4th July as part of their annual weekend run to North Northumberland, when they stayed at Highburn Holiday Park near Wooler. Around 30 bikes dating from the 1920's up to the 1980's made the journey to Heatherslaw with riders taking a tour of the Cornmill then stopping for refreshments in the Tearoom before heading home - for some as far away as Cornwall! The motorcycles made quite a spectacular sight - pictured here are a few of the bikes with a 1929 Ariel in the foreground.
