EDUCATION: Resources & Information for Schools
At Ford & Etal we value the need to give children a real experience and that is exactly what we offer. All our sites are still in their original states and are fully operational, whether it is Heatherslaw Corn Mill still producing flour or Lady Waterford Hall being used as a village hall. This allows children to understand the contrast of the past and the present and gives them an experience covering all areas of the curriculum in a way which is accessible to them.
We offer an excellent hands-on experience for educational visits. Our well informed, friendly and helpful staff will tailor your visit to meet your requirements on a single subject or cross curricular. Teachers are offered a free site visit to find out how a trip to Ford & Etal can be a fun day out as well as educationally rewarding.
Before your visit why not borrow one of our resource boxes which cover Key Stages 1, 2 and 3? Just give Ford & Etal a ring on 01890 820338 to discuss your requirements or if it is more convenient drop us an email and we will respond as quickly as possible.
We hope we have provided you with all the information you need to start planning your visit but if you do require any further information or assistance please do not hesitate to contact us.
